Conversion
Listing conversion checklist
Before you send more traffic to a listing, make sure the listing can explain the offer quickly, justify the price, and remove the buyer's obvious doubts.
Score the page. Use the interactive checklist to find weak spots before paid traffic.
Open listing scorecard1. First impression
- The first image shows the actual outcome, not only a decorative mockup.
- The title uses the buyer's language and includes the main product type.
- The buyer can understand what is being sold within 10 seconds.
2. Offer clarity
- The description says what is included, what is not included, and how delivery works.
- Digital products include file type, size, software requirements, and usage limits.
- Physical or POD products include material, sizing, shipping timing, and care details where relevant.
3. Price confidence
- The price supports the profit margin after fees and shipping.
- The listing explains why the product is worth more than the cheapest alternative.
- Bundles, variants, or add-ons make the average order value easier to lift.
4. Trust signals
- Photos, mockups, reviews, FAQs, and policies reduce buyer uncertainty.
- The refund or support path is clear enough that buyers do not have to guess.
- The listing avoids exaggerated claims that create refund risk.
5. Traffic readiness
If the listing has weak photos, unclear delivery, and thin margin, paid traffic only exposes the weakness faster. Fix the offer first, then test traffic in small batches and compare conversion rate, profit per order, and refund rate.
