Email list

Email marketing tools for Etsy sellers

Etsy can bring marketplace buyers, but an email list gives you a way to keep serving people after the first click. The clean path is to offer an opt-in lead magnet, then send useful product updates, guides, and launches.

Start with a simple funnel. A free checklist or spreadsheet is enough to test whether visitors want more from you.

Quick recommendation

Choose MailerLite for a simple lead magnet funnel, landing pages, newsletters, and beginner-friendly automations. Choose Omnisend when the business is more ecommerce-heavy and needs email, SMS, web push, segmentation, and store integrations. Choose Kit when the brand is creator-led and the list will be built through content, tutorials, launches, digital products, or a newsletter. For the newer decision path, use the side-by-side comparison.

The first email funnel to build

  1. Create one opt-in asset: a checklist, spreadsheet, pricing worksheet, or mini guide.
  2. Build a dedicated landing page that explains the result, not every feature.
  3. Send a welcome email with the download.
  4. Send a second email with a related calculator or guide.
  5. Send a third email with a useful affiliate recommendation only when it fits the reader's next step.

Important list-building rule

Do not add marketplace buyers to a marketing list unless they clearly opted in. Keep the funnel permission-based: Pinterest, SEO, and your website send people to an opt-in page, and the email tool stores subscribers who asked to hear from you.
